That is a great example of how to pick seeds off a kowhai tree Ethan! I wish i had this video last week when I was teaching the class. Do you think the seeds will germinate? We will find out in 4-6 weeks. Thanks for your hard work Ethan. Keep it up!
Hi Ethan! It was cool to see your video. I thought it was great that you only picked as many seed pods as you needed. That left plenty for the birds to spread around and eat. I am wondering how many seeds were in each pod.
Ka pai, Ethan! Thank you for showing me how to pick kowhai seeds. What did you notice about the seeds? How many were in each pod? That would make a great maths activity. How are you going to plant the seeds? I like watching tuis feeding on the kowhai flower's nectar.
